LET'S TALK ABOUT MONEY.

Everybody else is. Hardly a news report with it left out. Times are a-changing. The government has now assumed responsibility for stabilizing our national economy. Their irresponsibility allowed such financial chaos. There is no explanation other than graft, greed, and mismanagement for personal gain. For many years politicians have secured votes by promising that the government would take of us. Now days these people are providing trillions of dollars to bail out banks, loaning institutions, and our largest corporations. This money is given to the same leaders who mismanaged their funds. During this financial crisis, pork still thrives in their spending.

This moment many people have lost half of their savings with their retirement possibilities cut in half. They cannot do one thing about it! What a sad day for many Americans. We Christians have a God who has promised to meet all our needs. (not our wants or wishes) (Philippians 4:19).  We have nothing to worry about. His promise includes His abundant provision to become a reality for us. (Psalm 34:10, Luke 12:32) Here is our course of action. "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thrives break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through and steal." Matthew. 6:19-20

Friend, let's rejoice in this hour as in all others. (Philippians 4:4) Let others hear of our confidence and assurance. What a day of opportunity to declare our Heavenly promises to His children in a troubled world.
